Trying New Things

In the past few days, I’ve been dreaming up a lot of new outfits. I’ve always had a love for fashion, which is often times shown with my style boards. I love piecing all the items together to create a complete look. The outfits always turn out absolutely adorable, but I’ve started to notice a trend.

I’m absolutely awful when it comes to trying new fashion trends…
Wearing polka dots.
Mixing patterns.
Colored jeans.
Lace tanks.

Oh wait, I did polka dots here, and today I’m doing a lace tank – check check! My fashion sense is changing and I’m loving every moment of it. Last week I bought a pair of cobalt blue jeans and I’ve already worn them twice. They’re are by far one of my new favorite pieces.

A huge part of this is me wanting to try new things and actually doing just that! I’m getting sick of always pairing together the same top, cardigan, and scarf. After a few of those similar combinations, they all begin to look the same. I also think this change has something to do with the DIY fashion inspiration board I recently made to hang in my bedroom.

To remind me every morning that it’s OKAY to try NEW things.

So here’s to change! Here’s to a gorgeous, nautical outfit that would normally be a little out of my comfort zone…but not anymore, thanks to Sincerely Sweet Boutique.

I’d pair it with a pair of jeans and white or red shirt, or in the summer, I’d pair it with my white capris with a red shirt.
