Framed Frosting: Weekly Photo Challenge: Small Details

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous week, aside from the cold and snow of course. Can you believe it's February 1st already? January just flew by and before you know it we'll all be lounging by the pool and enjoying Spring Break! It's amazing to me how fast time goes by these days. It's the end of the week which means it's time for week two of the Instagram photo challenge!

Last week's theme was NATURE and we had some really amazing photographs submitted! Those of sunsets, cloud-infested skies, rainbows, and many snow covered trees. This week's winner submitted a gorgeous photo of a bare tree surrounded by birds. Isn't it amazing?! Congratulations @lizluscomb -- you've won the $10 Starbucks gift card!

None of you know this, but one of the main reasons I started this photo challenge was so I could learn to appreciate the beauty in everything. I want to be able to pay attention to the small details, which are usually overlooked on a daily basis. I tend to focus on the bigger picture of things and don't pay enough attention to all the small details that make up my everyday life. So with that said, "SMALL DETAILS" is this week's theme!

Don't be afraid to get creative with Instagram filters and effects to turn a decent photo into an amazing one. There are some really amazing photo editing apps out there and even a few enhanced camera apps too. {Remember: You don't have to have a blog to participate, just an Instagram account!}
